1. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following categories of information, as required to be disclosed under Apple App Store policies and privacy laws:

• Contact and Registration Information: Name, email, phone, username, password.
• Identifiers: Device identifiers for push notifications, and IP address.
• User Content: Photos, videos, messages, uploads.
• Usage Data: Browsing activity, interactions, diagnostics.
• Payment Data: Processed by third parties; we do not store card details.
• Health and Sensitive Data: Only if relevant (e.g., medical waivers), with explicit consent.
• Information from Third Parties: Demographics, social media info (with consent).

2. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE DATA

When you use our electronic signature features to sign documents, we collect and retain the following information to create an audit trail that satisfies legal requirements under the E-SIGN Act, UETA, and PIPEDA:

• Signature Image: The digital representation of your signature as drawn or typed.
• IP Address: Your device's IP address at the time of signing.
• Device and Browser Information: User agent string identifying your browser, operating system, and device type.
• Timestamp: The precise date and time when you signed the document.
• Signature Hash: A cryptographic hash of your signature data for integrity verification.
• Consent Records: Records of your consent to use electronic signatures and acknowledgment that you read the document.

Retention Period: Electronic signature records and audit trail data are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with legal requirements and to support the validity of signed documents. Signature records are immutable and cannot be deleted or modified once created, even if the associated document or user account is deleted.

Legal Basis: We collect this information based on your explicit consent provided before signing, and to comply with legal requirements for valid electronic signatures. You may choose not to use electronic signatures, but you will not be able to sign documents electronically through Gridly.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information for the following purposes, with your consent where required under applicable Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA) and US federal and state privacy laws:

• Provide and improve the Gridly Services.
• Personalize the content you see in the app.
• Process transactions.
• Communicate with you (e.g., support, updates).
• Analyze usage for security and fraud prevention.
• Comply with legal obligations.
• Create and maintain electronic signature audit trails for legal compliance.
• Generate certificates of completion for signed documents.

We minimize data collection and retain it only as necessary, per applicable Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA) and US federal and state privacy laws principles. Electronic signature data is retained for the legally required minimum period.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share information with:

• Authorities if required by law.

We do not sell personal information (as defined under applicable US federal and state privacy laws). For Apple App Store compliance, we disclose sharing for cross-app tracking only with consent.

Organizations are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental consent before providing any personal information about children under 13. If we discover we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents can contact us at team@gridlyapp.com to review, update, or delete their child's information. For users under 18, parents or guardians may request removal of posted information.
