Built by coaches, for coaches

What's the best app to run a youth sports team?

Gridly puts the whole season in one place, so the admin runs itself and you get back to coaching.

Free forever for up to 15 players. No card required.

Gridly is one app that runs a whole youth sports team. Coaches use it to set the schedule, collect fees through their own Stripe account, get waivers signed digitally, message every parent at once, and share playbooks and game film. It is free for up to 15 players, and paid plans stay under $35 a month.

Why does running a team feel like a second job?

Because the season is scattered across apps that don't talk to each other. Every gap becomes your job at 10pm, and it adds up to hours of managing every week instead of coaching. It's also how fees slip and kids end up at the wrong field.

The muted group chat

One announcement, five follow-up questions, and half the parents never saw it. You repeat yourself all season.

Fees chased by text

Payment links in one app, a running tally in a spreadsheet, and awkward reminders sent one parent at a time.

Paper waivers in a binder

Forms get printed, lost, and re-sent, and you find out who never signed the week you actually need the signature.

What does Gridly take off your plate?

Built for what coaches actually need. Not what software companies think you need.

Roster Management

Know every player. Forget the spreadsheet.

Import your roster once. Gridly keeps everyone organized: contacts, emergency info, medical forms. You never chase down info again.

How does Gridly compare to TeamSnap and SportsEngine?

Honestly. TeamSnap is strong at logistics and SportsEngine at league administration. Gridly is the one built around the coach, with playbooks, film, and workouts included.

Who's behind Gridly?

Gridly started on a youth football sideline. Keith Godding, who coaches his own team, was running the season out of a spreadsheet, a group chat, a payment app, and a stack of paper waivers. Something still slipped every week.

So he built the tool he needed: one roster that drives the schedule, the fees, the forms, the playbook, and the film. Every feature since has shipped because a real season demanded it.

He still coaches, and he is still the first user of everything Gridly ships.

Questions coaches ask

How much does Gridly cost?
The free plan covers up to 15 players. Coach is $17 a month for up to 35 players, and Elite is $35 a month for up to 80 players plus Gridly Sideline. Annual billing saves 17%.
What does Gridly replace?
Most teams retire four or five tools: the scheduling app, the group chat, the payment links, the waiver paperwork, and the film folder. One roster drives all of it.
Can parents pay team fees online?
Yes. Parents pay by card and the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. Gridly tracks who has paid and reminds who has not.
Does Gridly handle waivers and forms?
Yes. Parents sign digitally from their phone, one signing session covers all siblings, and you can see at a glance who still owes a signature.
What sports does Gridly support?
Six: football, soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and hockey, each with sport-specific positions, formations, and workout programs.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you want. No contracts.
